Album Review Club began as a way to keep in touch during the first covid lockdown in 2020. What was once a simple chat to recommend albums quickly evolved into a complex spreadsheet of ratings and leader boards. Since then, we have developed this website to showcase our work, allowing you the opportunity to check out our rankings, reviews and hopefully discover something new!

We rate the albums based on three metrics, derived from what each of us feel to be the most important way to rank albums:

  • Overall: Our gut reaction to the album
  • Replayability: The likeliness that we would play the album again.
  • Liked Songs: The proportion of individual songs on the album that we enjoyed.

These are then combined to provide the average score. You can rank our albums by any of these four categories on our Albums page.
